This is the first edition in Russia included consolidated texts of the EC Treaty and the EU Treaty with amendments brought by Amsterdam Treaty. The book consists of introduction, 3 parts and attachments. The first part of the book deals with general information on primary law, consolidated texts of the EC Treaty and the EU Treaty and scientific commentaries. The second part includes general information on secondary law, 29 acts in different areas of the EU activity translated into Russian by specialists of the Chair of the EU law of the MSAL and commentaries. The third part dedicates to acts of the EU on the human rights protection with an analysis of a legal status of the EU citizens. Attachments includes an information concerning EU law information systems and databases and tables of equivalencies referred to in Article 12 of the Treaty of Amsterdam.
